Meet Donald! 👋
In honor of Black History Month, we’re celebrating Donald Smith, a dedicated leader at Goodwill San Antonio. Donald started as a cashier in 2009, and through hard work, grew into his current role as a Floating Manager.
Meet Joseph! 👋
At Goodwill San Antonio, we are proud to celebrate Black History Month by recognizing the incredible leaders who make a difference in our organization.
Today, we highlight Joseph Pope, Vice President of Human Resources, whose leadership and passion for empowering others embody the very spirit of our mission.
For 36 years, Diana Trevino has been a dedicated team member at Goodwill San Antonio- embodying the organization's mission and values. Her journey to Goodwill began in 1989, when a relative introduced her to the non-profit organization.
For the past 20 years, Brian Lowery worked as a prison guard at a maximum-security facility. His workdays were filled with high-stress situations coupled with overtime hours. It was a combination that began to take a toll on his personal life and mental health.
For years, Nicholas was trapped in a cycle of addiction. His life fell out of control causing his relationships to crumble, and eventually, his choices caught up with him, leading to prison.
After their children moved out, marking the end of an era, local couple Jessica and Roger Sanchez faced a new chapter in their lives. Rather than letting the empty nest syndrome take hold, they enrolled in Goodwill San Antonio’s Digital Literacy Course.
