SAN ANTONIO – Goodwill San Antonio is hosting a mega career fair with over 45 employers who are ready to hire for over 1,500 positions.

The event comes as part of the organization’s Good Careers Center, which provides free, tailored career services to anyone seeking employment.

SAN ANTONIO – Goodwill San Antonio is celebrating Workforce Development Month and is reminding the community of the workforce training and education they offer.

Goodwill offers different programs at no cost at the Good Career Academy in downtown San Antonio, including medical assistant, nurse’s aide, pharmacy technician, and commercial driver’s license.

In November 2020, San Antonio voters chose overwhelmingly to support workforce development in our community. Seventy-seven percent of voters cast ballots in favor of Proposition B, the city’s “SA Ready to Work” initiative.

SAN ANTONIO – Jailynn Jittlertmengkol is a “thriftanista.” By shopping at Goodwill, she’s curating her first-class back-to-school look on a second-hand budget. “You can find really cool pieces,” she said.

Even the trendy top and skirt she wore shopping came from her favorite thrift store.
