Meet Marquita! 👋

Throughout Black History Month, Goodwill San Antonio has had the privilege of recognizing outstanding leaders that have made an impact on not just our organization but their peers.

Today we highlight Marquita, a Business Services Training Specialist, who trains and develops for all Business Services assigned Team Members.

Outside of Goodwill, Marquita is an active member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Having experienced mental health hurdles, she has become an advocate for her community.

Marquita bridges her passion for mental health awareness with her leadership at Goodwill, allowing her to lead with empathy and understanding.

“Sharing my story allows me to continue to learn about myself,” Marquita said. “This role has required me to hone in on my skills...I needed that...I appreciate that.”
